Before joining Tile Hill, I spent a lot of time researching the market and meeting people from a range of search firms. Tile Hill genuinely felt different. It had a strong professional reputation, but there was also an authenticity that stood out. I came away feeling that I could challenge myself, continue to grow, and do it in a way that felt true to who I am.

What's kept me here is that the reality has matched that first impression. I've been trusted with opportunities that have pushed me outside my comfort zone and helped me grow professionally, while always feeling able to show up as myself. The people, culture and shared ambition to build something meaningful have made it a place where I've genuinely enjoyed building my career.

What's surprised you most about working here?

What has surprised me most is how seriously people take their own development. That's true whether someone is early in their career or brings years of experience to the business. There's a real willingness to seek feedback, reflect on what's gone well, learn from what's gone less well and keep improving. I've come to appreciate that this culture doesn't happen by accident. It takes effort and humility from everyone.

Looking back, I've grown far more than I expected when I joined. I've had opportunities to stretch myself, take on challenges I wouldn't have imagined at the start of my career, and learn from the people around me. That mindset of continuous improvement is one of Tile Hill's greatest strengths.
