What made you join Tile Hill, and what's kept you here?

What initially drew me to Tile Hill was the culture. Having now been here for over a year, it's refreshing to be able to say that the culture promoted during the recruitment process is the genuine day-to-day experience of working here. It's a grown-up environment filled with people who care deeply about the sectors they work in and are genuinely curious about what's happening across public services.

What's kept me here is the trust. I've been given the freedom to manage my own desk, organise my own time and focus on delivering great work without being micromanaged. That level of autonomy, combined with the support that's available when you need it, makes a huge difference.

What's surprised you most about working here?

The biggest surprise has been the level of access to leadership. Even as the business continues to grow, people at every level are encouraged to contribute ideas and share their views on the direction of the company.

I didn't expect to work so closely with senior leaders who are genuinely interested in what you're doing and willing to share their experience, advice and networks. Whether it's discussing a client challenge, developing a market insight or building relationships, there's always an opportunity to learn from people with an incredible depth of experience. If you're curious and willing to put the work in, you'll get a lot out of those relationships.
