What made you join Tile Hill, and what's kept you here?

I joined Tile Hill because the culture genuinely aligned with my own values. The mix of professionalism and collaboration was a real draw, and the way the business engaged with me throughout the recruitment process gave me confidence that it lived the values it talked about.

I've stayed because the business continues to grow, not only in size but in its position in the market. Despite that growth, I've always felt supported to develop my own career and expand my desk.

What's surprised you most about working here?

Probably how quickly the time has gone. It's been four years already! What surprised me most from the start was the amount of trust placed in people. I've never felt micromanaged or that anyone doubted my ability to get the job done. I think that's been one of the biggest factors in my growth. The leadership style here gives you the autonomy to work in your own way, learn from your mistakes and keep improving. Support is always there when you need it, but a lot of my development has come from the confidence the business has shown in me.

What would you tell someone thinking about joining the team?

Do it. Tile Hill isn't like other recruitment firms. There are no bells, power hours or boiler-rooms. It's an environment for people who are self-motivated and want the freedom to do great work. It's grown-up, collaborative and genuinely good fun, with people who want to see you succeed without getting in your way.
